MTV Europe Music Awards 2016: tutti i vincitori degli EMA

Si sono svolti nella serata del 6 novembre 2016 gli MTV Europe Music Awards 2016, premi annuali che celebrano i migliori artisti dell’anno.

MTV Europe Music Awards 2016: la cerimonia

L’evento musicale, tra i più attesi e seguiti a livello mondiale, ha avuto come location quest’anno l’Ahoy Rotterdam Arena, in Olanda. La cerimonia degli EMA 2016 è stata presentata dalla cantante pop Bebe Rexha, che si è anche esibita durante la serata tra i performers. Con sempre sono stati moltissimi i presenters che hanno consegnato i premi agli artisti vincitori, tra cui Nina Dobrev e Deepika  Padukone (prossima star del film in uscita xXx: Return of Xander Cage), il figlio di Will Smith Jaden Smith, G-Eazy, Charli XCX, Tinie Tempah e Idris Elba. Gli MTV EMA 2016 sono stati caratterizzati anche da tantissima musica dal vivo, infatti si sono esibiti Bruno Mars, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, OneRepublic, Kings Of Leon, Shawn Mendes, Dnce, Lukas Graham, Zara Larsson e The Weeknd. Performance di grande rilievo è stata quella dei Green Day, che hanno ricevuto il prestigioso Global Icon Award.

MTV EMA 2016: i nominati

Per quanto riguarda le nomination, hanno dominato Beyoncé e Justin Bieber con 5 candidature ciascuno, seguiti da Adele con 4 nomination insieme ai Coldaplay, candidati tra l’altro per Best Rock. Grandi nomination anche per Lukas Graham, tra cui Best New Act, e Shawn Mendes che è stato in gara come Best Male. Rihanna e Drake hanno ricevuto 3 candidature a testa, inclusa quella come Best Song per la hit Work in cui hanno collaborato. Per quanto riguarda la Best Song dell’anno, le nomination hanno interessato la hit da record di Adele Hello, Sorry di Justin Bieber, 7 Years di Lukas Graham e I Took a Pill in Ibiza, remix di Seeb del successo dance di Mike Posner.
